Diabetes Tracker
Terms of Service
Effective date: July 16, 2026
By downloading or using Diabetes Tracker ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What Diabetes Tracker Is
Diabetes Tracker is a personal glucose and food logging tool. It helps you record readings, log meals, track HbA1c and medications, and view trends over time.
Diabetes Tracker is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider before making any decisions about your diabetes management, medication, or treatment — including any decisions based on data shown in this app.
2. Your Account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter — glucose readings, food logs, HbA1c results, and medication schedules are self-reported by you, and the app cannot verify their correctness.
- You must be old enough to consent to use of health-tracking apps under the laws of your country. If you're a parent or guardian using this app to help track a dependent's readings, you take responsibility for that use.
3. AI Nutrition Lookup
The AI-powered nutrition estimate feature provides approximate nutritional information based on your text description of a food item. Estimates are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on them for medical dosing decisions — for example, calculating insulin doses — without your own judgment and your healthcare provider's guidance.
Free accounts get a limited number of AI lookups per day; manual entry has no limit and is always free.
4. Medication Reminders
Medication reminders are a convenience feature to help you remember doses you've scheduled yourself. They depend on your device's notification settings and battery optimization behavior, and are not guaranteed to be delivered on time or at all. They are not a substitute for your own attention to your medication schedule.
5. Emergency Contacts
The emergency contacts feature stores contact information for your own reference within the app. It is not a substitute for your device's built-in emergency/medical ID feature, which is designed to be visible on your lock screen without unlocking your phone — see the in-app guidance for how to set that up separately.
6. Subscriptions
- Diabetes Tracker Premium, when available, is billed through Google Play Billing at the price shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store subscription settings on your device — we don't process cancellations directly.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies, not by us directly.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app's operation or security.
- Use the app to store or transmit information that isn't your own health data without the relevant person's consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alvisca is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any health outcomes related to decisions made using information from the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Changes to the App or These Terms
We may update the app's features and these terms over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected with an updated effective date above.
11. Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

This is a starting draft, not legal advice — Alvisca is not a law firm. Sections 9 and 12 in particular are worth having a real lawyer look at, since enforceability varies by country and Diabetes Tracker is aimed at users in several.
