Family Tree privacy policy

This policy explains how the Family Tree app ("the app") by Alvisca Technology handles your information.

Information we collect

Account information

Your email address, or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.

Family information you add

Names, relationships, dates, photos and other details you add about yourself and your relatives. Please only add information about other people that you have the right to share.

Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage information to show and measure ads. You can limit ad personalisation in your phone's settings. Premium removes ads.

Purchases

Google Play handles payment for Premium. We receive confirmation of your purchase, not your card details.

How we use your information

• To save and display your family tree.
• To let you sign in and, when available, share your tree with relatives you invite.
• To show ads in the free version and manage Premium.
• To keep the app secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your family information.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored using Google Firebase services, operated by Google, and protected in transit with encryption.

Sharing

Your tree is private unless you choose to share it. We share data only with service providers needed to run the app (Google Firebase, Google Play and Google AdMob) or when required by law.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account, tree and photos at any time on our account deletion page. We complete deletion within 30 days.

Children

Account holders must be 13 or older. Family trees may include information about children, added by a parent or relative.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
